Rock and Indie Festival 2023 (RIF 2023)

I got a shock when I was offered the role to be the programmes IC for RIF. It turned out to be one of the best things that happened to be in LASALLE because I got to know so many wonderful musicians in the local scene and the amazing crew.

As the programmes IC I was in charge of doing the whole festival's rundown and aligning it with the Diploma in Audio Production guys who were a key player in the show. I was also overseeing the curation of the line up for the festival, as well as the vendors for the festival village. We also pulled off the first ever live auditions for the open call segment prior to the festival. It has now become a new tradition for future editions of RIF.

I also had to communicate with the lecturers and ensure that the budget and resources are evenly spread out. I was glad to get portions of the funds for the welfare of the crew with snacks and meals provided for everyone.
